                            HANGING THE ROPES FROM A FINISHED CEILING

                    


                                                  The finished ceiling kit is used where the ceiling joists
                                                  are covered by a finish material such as sheet rock or tiles.
                                                   In order to install this kit  the location of four adjacent joists
                                                   must be found, and enough finish material must be removed
                                                   to find the centerline of the joists so that the lag bolts are
                                                   centered. 

                                                   The steel channel is 60 inches long and comes in two 30 inch
                                                   segments. The segments are joined by a splice plate.
